Gear and training the town budget can't cover
Donations go straight to equipping and training KSAR volunteers. Here's where that money goes.
A six-seat side-by-side
Getting rescuers to a patient fast, and getting the patient out, is often the hardest part of a backcountry call. A rugged side-by-side utility vehicle would carry six team members along with packs, a litter, patient packaging and rope gear up steep terrain.
The town has no budget for this vehicle. The foundation will contribute, but we need outside support to cover most of the cost. The team already has a trailer to haul it.
